What NowTap Global covers

NowTap Global is an operations-focused blog about running an online store:
sourcing products, choosing carriers, pricing shipping, handling returns, and keeping
marketplace accounts healthy. No motivational fluff — just the numbers and procedures
that day-to-day sellers actually deal with.

Who writes this

This site is run by an ecommerce operator based in South Korea who manages
storefronts across multiple marketplaces and handles sourcing, listing, fulfillment,
and settlement first-hand. The articles here come from that daily operating
experience, adapted for an international audience.

How we work

  • Fees come from the platform’s own documentation. Amazon, eBay,
Etsy, and carrier rate cards are the source — not a third-party blog quoting a number
    from two years ago.
  • We date our claims. Marketplace fees change without much warning
(eBay’s final value fee moved in February 2025, to pick one example). A percentage
with no date attached is close to useless, so we say when it applied.
  • Ranges over false precision. Shipping costs and lead times vary
by lane, weight, and season. Where a single number would be a lie, we give the range
    and explain what moves it.
  • We update when the numbers move. If you spot something outdated,
tell us — see the contact page.

Run the numbers yourself

Some things are faster to calculate than to read about:

What we write about

  • Sourcing — finding suppliers, sampling, MOQs, landed cost
  • Shipping & Logistics — carriers, rates, delivery windows, returns
  • Marketplaces — fee structures, account health, listing policy
  • Store Operations — pricing, inventory, settlement, day-to-day admin
